In what's become a running theme this season, the Minor Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 61-38 margin over Homewood. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Minor has posted since December 5, 2023.
Minor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Cameron, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cameron has scored all season. Quantrese Washington was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds.
Minor's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-8. As for Homewood, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minor will take on Jackson-Olin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson-Olin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Homewood, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Parker at 6:00 p.m. Parker will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
