The Ridgeline Falcons took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 80-53 victory over Hanford at home. That's another feather in the cap for Ridgeline, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ridgeline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caden Andreas led the charge by scoring 19 points along with 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Tanner Allred, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaxon Niemi, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Hawks, who scored 9 points.
Hanford struggled to work together and finished the game with only a assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Ridgeline racked up 16.
Ridgeline's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Hanford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Ridgeline will head out on the road to face off against Cheney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hanford, they will be playing at home against Eastmont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
