Ralls has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Floydada Whirlwinds at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Even though Ralls has not done well against the Longhorns recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Ralls walked away with a 66-57 win over the Longhorns. The victory was just what Ralls needed coming off of a 74-52 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Floydada can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 83-32 victory over Smyer at home. The victory was familiar territory for Floydada who now have four in a row.
Ralls' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15. As for Floydada, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.
Ralls was dealt a bruising 97-54 loss at the hands of the Whirlwinds in their previous matchup back in January. Can Ralls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
