Central Connecticut III East recap November 5, 2013
Platt extended the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut III East this week by beating Berlin, 44-6. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Platt took down the Redcoats 44-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Berlin's Mitch Williams and Nate Campbell have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Williams has thrown for 1,126 yards this season, while Campbell has 26 catches for 358 yards. Jason Bruenn's team's TYZHAN LEATHERWOOD leads the league in rushing yards with 1,619.
As it stands, the Panthers are in first, while Rockville is in fifth.
Plainville made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,274 from 10,326. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 40-7 victory over the Rams last week.
