The Liberty Charter Lions will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the High Tech NC Raptor at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After soaring to 58 points the game before, Liberty Charter were a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell 32-23 to Chula Vista Learning Community Charter.
Despite the loss, Liberty Charter had strong showings from Joel Bray, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds, and Duke Dengerink, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks. That was a full 47.8% of Liberty Charter's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, High Tech NC unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ocean View Christian.
Liberty Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for High Tech NC, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
