They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 67-20 victory over Unity Christian. Tri-State Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Tri-State Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Cunningham, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cunningham has scored all season. Nick Vannorsdel was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten rebounds and 11 assists.
Tri-State Christian's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Unity Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Coincidentally, Tri-State Christian and Unity Christian will both be playing Morning Star Academy the next time they take the court. Tri-State Christian will host Morning Star Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Unity Christian will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
