Lee Central was the 9-3 winner over C.A. Johnson when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Stallions took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets on Tuesday. Even though they lost, the Stallions' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Juju Davis and Nas Jackson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Davis got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, while Jackson scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Chuck Harry, who scored two runs and stole two bases.
This is the second loss in a row for Lee Central and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for C.A. Johnson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee Central will take on Chesterfield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for C.A. Johnson, they will face off against the Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
