After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rocky River, the Kenston Bombers were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They slipped by Chardon 47-46. This was a revenge contest for Kenston, as the team was forced to settle for a 62-47 loss when these two played last Monday.
Kenston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aurora Young, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Amy Jarmolowicz was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Kenston has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-14 record this season. As for Chardon, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Kenston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 37-31 victory vs. North on the 10th. Chardon has also already played their next contest, a 41-28 win against South on the 10th.
