Bassick's Vochan Fowler rumbled for the longest rushing play in Fairfield County this season in his game against East Haven last week. Fowler's team lost to the Yellowjackets as he sprinted for 80 yards on the play and finished with 243 in all.
Fowler and Fowler gave Bassick a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Teammate Julian Fyffe added to the ground attack by rushing for 124 yards.
