The Summit SkyHawks will square off against the Colton Yellowjackets at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Summit is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Grand Terrace just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 13-12. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Arianna Munoz and Isabella Smith stepped up to the plate in a big way. Munoz went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Smith went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Munoz is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Aaliyah Garcia was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Colton was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of Carter by a score of 2-0. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
ANDREA VARELA spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, Colton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was MALEAH JUAREZ, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
Colton's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Summit has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Colton struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
