Softball Recap: Evans Wins Going Away Against Hornbeck

Evans barely beat Hornbeck the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Hornets 10-4 on Friday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Evans is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Hornbeck, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Evans has already played their next game (against Plainview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hornbeck, they will challenge Ebarb at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
