Football Recap: Orr Skates Past Rowe-Clark with Ease

Orr barely beat Rowe-Clark the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans claimed a resounding 34-6 win over the Masai Lions. The Spartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cyrus Westbrook was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 210 yards and two TDs on only 19 passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Orr's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise. A healthy portion of Westbrook's aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Marquez Emory, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Orr's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Brandon Brown was especially locked on to Rowe-Clark's QB and sacked him twice.

The victory got Orr back to even at 3-3. As for Rowe-Clark, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Orr will face off against Collins Academy/Manley at 3:00 p.m. on the 11th. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rowe-Clark, they will challenge Crane Medical at 4:15 p.m. on the 10th. The Masai Lions will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
