Saint James is 8-2 against Montgomery Catholic since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Saint James Trojans are on the road again  and play against the Montgomery Catholic Knights at 6:00  p.m.  on December 4th. Hopefully Saint James is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Montgomery Catholic in Alabama (Saint James is ranked 76th, while Montgomery Catholic is ranked 219th).
 Last Monday, Saint James was able to grind out a solid  victory over Pike Road, taking the game  64-53.
 It was another big night for  Natalie Barton, who  went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 6 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  stole two or more in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ava Card, who  scored 17 points.
 Meanwhile, Montgomery Catholic pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell  69-62 to Trinity Presbyterian.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from  Hannah Smith, who  dropped  a double-double on 24 points and 11  rebounds. The  contest was  her fourth in a row with at least ten points.  Heaven Bailey was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Saint James has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Montgomery Catholic, they have  fallen quite a ways from their 25-8 record last season and are now  at 1-4.
 Monday's  contest is shaping up to be a scrappy  game:  Saint James  haven't given up the ball easily this season,  having  only  averaged 0  turnovers per game. It's a different story for Montgomery Catholic, though, as   they've been averaging 10.4  per game. Given Saint James' sizeable advantage in that area, Montgomery Catholic will need to find a way to close that gap.
