Basketball Recap: Philomath Skates Past Sweet Home with Ease

Philomath had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 53-18 win over the Sweet Home Huskies. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 26 points or more this season.

Philomath's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.7 points over those games. As for Sweet Home, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
