The Fayetteville Wolves suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 87-53 loss at the hands of Victory Christian. Fayetteville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
William Wilson-Hueter was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 22 rebounds for Victory Christian. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilson-Hueter has scored all season. Caden Brunson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Fayetteville dropped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Victory Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Fayetteville will be playing in front of their home fans against Isabella at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Isabella is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Victory Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Cullman Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
