Scout Silva Turns in Season-Best Performance
Turlock was led to victory by Scout Silva, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Silva rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Turlock, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Silva will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Modesto on Friday.

Vasquez Came Up Big in Gregori's 40-20 Win
Gregori found a leader in Emmanuel Vasquez as the team took down Modesto on Friday. Vasquez did his part (and then some), throwing for 186 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles.
For the year, Vasquez has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had two passing touchdowns.

Davian Garcia Delivers Best Effort of Season
Sadly, Davian Garcia posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Enochs over Pitman on Friday. Garcia made six total tackles and defended a pass.
Enochs is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Garcia and Enochs will take on Downey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Vanntheesouk Dam Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Vanntheesouk Dam put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (107.5).
This season, Dam has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 107.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 36.13 rushing yards per game.

Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles from Noah Sacuskie
On Friday, Downey had to settle for second even though Noah Sacuskie put up the best numbers he has all season. Sacuskie wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks, forcing a fumble, and making ten total tackles. The match was his eighth straight with six or more total tackles.
The loss snapped Downey's winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-1 record. Sacuskie and Downey will challenge Enochs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
