Baseball Game Preview: Ayden - Grifton Chargers vs. Washington Pam Pack

For the second straight game, Ayden - Grifton will face off against Washington. The Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pam Pack at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Ayden - Grifton's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Washington has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Ayden - Grifton barely beat Washington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chargers put the hurt on the Pam Pack with a sharp 15-2 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won seven matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Camden Wilson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over six innings pitched. Wilson was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Connor Loftin was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jack Ewell, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

Ayden - Grifton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Washington only managed one hit.

Ayden - Grifton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
