The Sequoyah Chiefs won against the North Cobb Warriors last Tuesday with four goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Sequoyah's defense stepped up to hand North Cobb a 4-0 shutout. Sequoyah's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
They hit North Cobb with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Noah Sawkins (2),
Armand Kroeppler, and
Alan Fernandez.
Sequoyah's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Cobb, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Sequoyah's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Forsyth Central at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Sequoyah has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 12 goals over their last three matchups. As for North Cobb, they will head out on the road to square off against North Paulding at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
