The Marshall Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 73-37 win over Rosemead at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Marshall as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Rosemead saw an underclassman step up: Rhys Anderson scored 20 points. That was a full 54.1% of Rosemead's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Rosemead, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Marshall will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against South El Monte at 6:30 p.m. As for Rosemead, they will head out on the road to take on Arroyo at 6:31 p.m. on Monday.
