The team relied heavily on Ryleigh Redden, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, eight RBI, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Skylar Sowell was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances.
Rock Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .731. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Pointe only posted an OBP of .469.
Rock Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for South Pointe, their defeat was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
