Daingerfield suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 59-15 loss at the hands of Sabine. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Daingerfield in their matchups with Sabine: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, New Diana came up short against Gladewater on Tuesday and fell 44-31. New Diana has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, New Diana got a solid performance out of Jolie Ballard, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds and two steals.
Daingerfield has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for New Diana, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16.
Daingerfield was dealt a bruising 65-31 loss at the hands of New Diana in their previous meeting on January 9th. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Daingerfield was down 41-14.
