At the plate, Jayden Daniels and Eli Reagan did most of the damage at the plate: Daniels went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Reagan scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. Pickett County is undefeated when Daniels posts two or more runs, but 2-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Rex Reagan, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Clarkrange fell victim to York Institute and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The Buffaloes haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Pickett County has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Clarkrange struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
