Roanoke Catholic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Johnson, who scored 17 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarcus Brown, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Roanoke Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Life Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.
Roanoke Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Benedictine at 2:15 p.m. on January 27th. Benedictine is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Life Christian Academy, they will square off against Cristo Rey at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
