The White Knoll Timberwolves will face off against the May River Sharks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: White Knoll has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while May River will arrive with three straight wins.
White Knoll made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fox Creek, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Predators by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Timberwolves have suffered since March 20th.

Easton Stewart
White Knoll got a good showing from Easton Stewart, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Stewart is becoming a predictor of the Timberwolves' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 7-11 when he doesn't).
At the plate, Isaiah Posey was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Tra Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, while May River put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Colleton County. The Sharks blew past the Cougars 9-0. The Sharks not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3rd (when they won 13-3).
Micah Morgan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Derek Blesie and Finn Boyles did most of the damage at the plate: Blesie went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Boyles went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Talon Putnam was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
