Westlake Charter was led to victory by Madysen Gibbs and Lena Tahod. Gibbs went 9 of 21 to rack up 24 points along with five boards and three steals, while Tahod went 6 for 14 en route to 12 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Tahod continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Chigozie Igwegbe was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Westlake Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
