Given Sacred Heart Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Lincoln is ranked 557th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sacred Heart Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JP Kerrigan, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was TJ O'Brien, who scored 18 points.
Sacred Heart Prep is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
