Tipton got themselves on the board against Grandfield on Friday, but Grandfield never followed suit. Tipton took the contest and then some with a 54-0 win over Grandfield. Followers of Tipton probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
The victory was the 5th in a row for Tipton, as they raised their record to 6-2. Grandfield are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Tipton take on Maysville at 7:00 PM. Unlike Tipton, Maysville will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Grandfield, they will face off against Mountain View-Gotebo. Grandfield's defense better steel itself: Mountain View-Gotebo are averaging 36.57 points per game.
