Warsaw is 1-9 against the Oatkan Knights since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warsaw Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Le Roy Oatkan Knights at 7:00 p.m. Warsaw will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Oatkan Knights are ranked 108th).
Warsaw won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. Their rough 72-48 defeat to Avon might stick with them for a while.
Meanwhile, Le Roy beat the Blue Devils 51-44 on Friday.
Merritt Holly Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Le Roy's points. Matthew Hockey was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Warsaw now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Le Roy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
Warsaw was taken down by the Oatkan Knights 76-48 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Warsaw have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
