While Purvis might've come up empty on Friday, Jacob Parker wasn't going down without a fight. Parker wasn't messing around, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The game was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Parker and Purvis will square off against Forrest County Agricultural at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tornadoes got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Aggies thanks in part to Parker: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
