While Friday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Brooklyn Pettit. She wasn't messing around on Friday, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The pitching appearance was her third straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Pettit and Graham-Kapowsin will be playing at home against South Kitsap at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
