Given Space Coast's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Titusville is ranked 500th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Taylor Hill was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 16 points. Phillayjah Carroll was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Titusville's loss came despite strong showings from Kennedie Sanders and Emonie Moore. Sanders scored ten points along with four steals, while Moore scored nine points along with two steals. Sanders hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Space Coast's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Titusville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Space Coast will be playing in front of their home fans against Seabreeze at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seabreeze has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Titusville, they will head out on the road to take on Satellite at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
