The Lone Jack Mules will challenge the Skyline Tigers on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lone Jack comes in on three and Skyline on four.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lone Jack and Adrian meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Mules never let the Blackhawks get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Mules, who have now won ten contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Kaylee Felix made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Felix was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

Faith Throgmorton
| 05/12/26 @ Adrian | 3 |
| 05/07/26 vs Versailles | 2 |
| 03/25/26 @ Concordia | 1 |
| 03/23/26 @ Midway | 1 |
In other batting news, Faith Throgmorton was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Remmi Fender was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Lone Jack always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Adrian only posted an OBP of .250.
Meanwhile, Skyline faced Warsaw in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Skyline's win bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Lone Jack, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.
Lone Jack might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Skyline in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Mules avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
