It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Perry Hall Gators had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 55-0 victory over Towson. The win was just business as usual for Perry Hall, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Perry Hall had a senior duo take command as Jacob Wagner gained 155 total yards and Da'Shaun Conway threw for 150 yards and a touchdown on only six passes. Wagner was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 65 yards.
Perry Hall has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.27 points. As for Towson, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
Perry Hall will face off against Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at TBD on Friday. Mergenthaler Vo-Tech is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Towson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
