Fans got a thrill when Luke Massei and Elijah Murrane connected against Sanderson. The connection was good for 53 yards, the longest such play in 4A Conference 13 this season.
Panther Creek scaled the state rankings by moving to 164 from 250 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Catamount were able to make move up by topping Heritage 44-0.
Green Hope's dynamic duo of Massei and Murrane proved tough for the Spartans to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Massei threw for 229 yards and 3 touchdowns and Murrane had 141 yards receiving. Daniel Gretsch helped Green Hope's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 40 yards.
The Falcons' dynamic duo of Massei and Murrane proved to be unstoppable against Sanderson, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Dominique Lynch provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Athens Drive defeated Broughton. Lynch's favorite target this week was Mark Stallings, who caught 2 passes for 38 yards.
Massei put up the best numbers through the air as Green Hope beat Ben Kolstad's team.
Murrane was the best wideout in the league this week as the Falcons defeated the Spartans.
He was 18-35 with 3 interceptions.
Lynch was the best running back in 4A Conference 13 this week. He ran for 259 yards on 38 carries as the Jaguars bested Sanderson.
Lynch was a beast in the backfield as Athens Drive beat the Capitals.
The Falcons' Massei and Murrane have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Massei has thrown for 454 yards this season, while Murrane has 18 catches for 204 yards. Trey Staten from Holly Springs leads the league in rushing with 340 yards.
Middle Creek was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating E.E. Smith. The Mustangs came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 43 last week.
