Lampeter-Strasburg has gone a perfect 3-0 against Cedar Crest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Lampeter-Strasburg will head out to face off against Cedar Crest at 4:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
While Lampeter-Strasburg didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let Garden Spot get on the board and left with a 35-0 win on Friday. Considering the Pioneers have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Natalie Hill was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. That run marked the first that she scored this season.
In other pitching news, Cyana Rosa looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Mackenzie Mack, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Isabelle King was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
Lampeter-Strasburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .646. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar Crest). They were the clear victors by a 20-5 margin over Lebanon on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Cedars: they've now won four in a row.
Cedar Crest picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, their record now sits at 5-1.
Lampeter-Strasburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Cedar Crest in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lampeter-Strasburg since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
