The Dutchtown Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Lamar County Trojans at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Dutchtown pushed their score all the way to five on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Newnan by a score of 6-5.
Meanwhile, Lamar County fell victim to Northside's stalwart defense on Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a rough 6-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles.
Dutchtown now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lamar County, they now also have a losing record at 1-2.
Dutchtown came out on top in a nail-biter against Lamar County in their previous matchup back in April of 2019, sneaking past 1-0. Will Dutchtown repeat their success, or does Lamar County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
