Things haven't been easy for St. Edmond, and their matchup on Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They suffered a grim 22-50 defeat to Alta/Aurelia on Friday. The contest pushed St. Edmond down to 2-6 and pulled Alta/Aurelia up to the reverse at 6-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. St. Edmond will stay at home next week against Northwest Webster at 7:00 PM. As for Alta/Aurelia, they will face off against Sioux Central. Those two teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games.
