Centralia hadn't done well against WF West recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Bearcats 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Centralia picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-8-2. As for WF West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centralia will take on rival Aberdeen at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, WF West is set to square off against their familiar foe Tumwater at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
