Ketchum had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Welch Wildcats as they made off with a 15-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Ketchum pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Welch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ketchum will head out to square off against Aspire HomeSchool at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Welch, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Welch Wildcats face off against South Coffeyville Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
