Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Twin River. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Twin River apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Owen Kurtenbach, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds, and Easton Baumgart who scored nine points along with eight assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Friesen, who scored seven points.
Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family has not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Twin River, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family will head out on the road to take on Plainview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday. As for Twin River, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. Edward at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th.
