Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (63), River Valley still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tonopah Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xavier Valentine, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Quintin Keys, who scored 14 points.
River Valley bumped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Tonopah Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Valley will take on Yuma Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Yuma Catholic is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. As for Tonopah Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against American Leadership Academy - West Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. American Leadership Academy - West Foothills is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
