Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tonopah Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xavier Valentine, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Quintin Keys, who scored 14 points.
River Valley bumped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Tonopah Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.
