After flying high against Harford Christian last Thursday, the Bohemia Manor Eagles came back down to earth. Bohemia Manor was beaten by the Mariners 84-46 on Tuesday. Bohemia Manor has not had much luck with the Mariners recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Joppatowne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Phil Clark, who scored 23 points along with two steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Clark has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Vance Jones, who scored 16 points along with seven blocks and five rebounds.
Bohemia Manor's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7. As for Joppatowne, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Bohemia Manor's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Panthers on February 1st. Perryville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 943 points over their last 13 contests. As for Joppatowne, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st. Aberdeen has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19.
