The Paradise Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season. They took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 65-15 win over Callisburg. With Paradise ahead 36-3 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Paradise can attribute much of their success to Rylee Nichols, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Nichols scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Gazey Yates, who scored 11 points along with six steals.
Paradise pushed their record up to 18-6 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26 points. As for Callisburg, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Paradise will head out on the road to face off against Pilot Point at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Callisburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ponder at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
