It was another big night for Jakelsin Mack, who rushed for 194 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 84-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Taquan (TJ) Ellerbe, who gained 123 total yards and a touchdown.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Red Springs was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 331 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2023.
Red Springs wouldn't let Clinton keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Red Springs can thank Nathan Norton and Patrick Locklear for forcing both of them.
Midway's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Red Springs, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.
