The Manchester Blue Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Webster County at home to the tune of 85-36. Manchester has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.
Manchester was led to victory by Daryus Bryant and Mond Johnson. Bryant scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Johnson dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was CJ Favors, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The victory (which was Manchester's sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Webster County, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Manchester won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Taylor County at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Taylor County will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Webster County will take on Chattahoochee County at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
