Softball Recap: Brentwood Academy's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Brentwood Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (8-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in April.

Brentwood Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Brentwood Academy and Christ Presbyterian Academy will both be playing Pope John Paul II the next time they take the field. The Lions will host the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
