Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Academy Takes a Loss

On Monday, the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Durham Flight HomeSchool Flight.

St. Thomas More Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-8. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only eight points. As for Durham Flight HomeSchool, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-5.

St. Thomas More Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Neuse Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Thomas More Academy is facing Neuse Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Neuse Christian Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Durham Flight HomeSchool, they will take on Faith HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
