Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Bragg). They slipped by the Making Waves Academy Marlins 69-68 on Thursday. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 50-41 win the Marlins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The victory was the third in a row for Fort Bragg, bringing their record for this year to 3-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Making Waves Academy, they moved to 7-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Fort Bragg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-45 loss against Las Plumas on the 3rd. Making Waves Academy has also already played their next game, a 67-44 defeat against Trinity on the 3rd.
