Dillon Williams-Fuller and Trent Delozier provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Tishomingo. The longest such play in 2A District 4 this season, the connection resulted in 65 yards.
Davis extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lexington, 50-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Wolves.
Delozier was the best wideout in the league this week as Coalgate defeated the Indians. Delozier tallied one reception for 65 yards. Brian Sharp helped Coalgate's passing attack out by catching one ball for 36 yards.
Delozier was the most productive running back in 2A District 4 this week. He ran for 153 yards on seven carries as the Wildcats bested Tishomingo. Brian Lee also contributed to the rushing game with 151 yards on the ground.
Alec Hetherington put up the best numbers through the air as Davis beat the Bulldogs. He finished with three completions for 79 yards and three touchdowns. Hetherington's favorite target this week was Deaundre` Carr, who caught two passes for 64 yards.
Coalgate's Dakota Powell and Delozier have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Powell has thrown for 345 yards this season, while Delozier has six catches for 185 yards. Konawa's Josh Kirkwood leads the league in rushing yards with 630.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Jody Weber's team takes on Marietta. At the moment, the Wolves are in first, while the Indians are in fifth.
Jeremy Reeder's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,405 from 8,786. The improvement came about via a 46-25 victory over Mark Patterson's team last week.
