Eno River is 0-4 against Voyager since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Eno River suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 70-45 walloping at the hands of Vance Charter. Eno River has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Eno River's loss came about despite a quality game from Corey Amyot, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Amyot has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Manning, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Voyager put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They really took it to Roxboro Community for the full four quarters, racking up a 89-49 victory on the road. The win was nothing new for Voyager as they're now sitting on six straight.
Voyager can attribute much of their success to Alex Wilder, who scored 23 points. Wilder continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Green, who scored eight points.
Eno River has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Voyager, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
